Call me Nicodemus. Some years ago - never mind how long precisely - having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world.
Fast forward a few years, and now that enlistment in the Navy has resulted in an offer of commissioning as an officer. Around the same time, I got back from my annual fill-up at the spiritual gas station that is SMF. And on a whim I decided to do something I swore I would never do: a livejournal. Seeing as there were other signs of the apocalypse at SMF this year, I guess it fits.
We shall see how this plot thread develops. |
